Data Reduction Machines

Several powerful machines are available for data reduction. The booking system that existed formerly has been discontinued due to lack of use and some minor security issues

• euclid
• thales
• bratac
• euler (private machine -- check with David Frayer before using)
• arcturus [RHEL8]

The capabilities of the machines listed above can be seen by clicking on the names (NRAO intranet only). Please do use a machine suitable to your needs. eg do not run a job on a mchine with 32Gb of memory if you only need a couple of Gb.

Please do not lock the desktop on public machines and leave them for hours on end. The system administrators WILL kill your session to allow other users access to the machine particularly if you have a software license tied up.
