- 1993 Bosma and Freeman published a paper concluding that of all the sprial galaxies
in the SRC-J
survey, 80% follow the sb= 21.65 B
law.
The rest, they decided, were anomalies.
(They ignored all dwarf galaxies in their survey, as well as the many studies on completeness.)
