The central surface brightness distribution for all galaxies in this survey. µB(0) for those galaxies without an image in the blue were found using µB(0) = µV(0) + 0.50 mag arcsec . Overlayed on the histogram are is the probaility distribution for finding galaxies at the various surface brightnesses, normalized to N(µ(0)) = 13.6, the average of N(µ(0)) over 22.0 mag arcsec < µ B(0) < 23.5 mag arcsec. The solid line is for µL(0) = 26.0 mag arcsec, while the dotted and dashed-dotted lines are for µL(0) = 26.5 mag arcsec and µL(0) = 27.0 mag arcsec, respectively.
