This page describes the meaning of the states displayed by the Cleo Antenna main screen.
The following descriptions are grouped by operation mode or opMode.
DoScan mode states
Tracking
Antenna system is tracking the last command in the currently selected coordinate system. Note that
this often means antenna motion (tracking a sky position).
Stopped
Antenna tracking a constant Az/El position.
Slewing
Moving to a new position.
Settling/Guiding
The system is executing a scan, which means a programmed trajectory is being followed and
data is being recorded.
RelStopping
A scan is finishing, and the antenna motion is being slowed to enter the Tracking state.
AbsStopping
A scan is finishing, and the antenna motion is being slowed to an Az/El relative stopped condition.
AbsAborting
The system is aborting a scan, and servoing the antenna to a Az/El relative stopped condition.
ChangeRx mode states
ChangingFeed
The initial state indicating the beginning of a ChangeRx operation mode (opMode).
UnlockingTurret
An unlock and move command has been sent, and the system is waiting for completion.
RotatingTurret
The turret is rotating to a new receiver position.
LockingTurret
A lock command has been sent and the control system is waiting for a locked indication.
CommandError_Feed
A problem has been detected in completing the turret move, check the message window for errors.
ChangeOptics mode states
ChangingMode
The feedarm deploy/retract initial state.
StowingMode1
This state indicates that the system is either stowing the subreflector, or retracting the prime focus feed
in preparation to deploy/retract the prime focus feed boom.
RetractingMode1
The prime focus feed boom is being retracted.
DeployingMode2
The prime focus feed boom is being deployed.
CommandError_Mode
An error has been detected in changing the optics configuration. Check the message window for errors.
Misc states
StowOperation
Performing stow/unstow manuver. Note: Unstowing currently enables the Az and El axes, regardless of
the drive enable selection.
Disconnected
Manager in Off state, no communication or monitoring active.
Dormant
Same as Disconnected
SafeMode
A serious error has been detected, and the controller (ACU) is attempting to disable all axes.
SafeModeHold
A SafeMode has occurred, and the system has disabled all axes. A new command may be
attempted.
