Example of mapping observations using position switching for the calibration.
These observations use the L-band RX and were taken as part of the GBT observer training.
The frequencies observed are: 
1420,1612,1665,1667,1720 MHz
With 23 MHz wide spectral windows split into 4096 channels.
The integration time was set to 1 s, and the scans were 1 minute long.
The velocity definition used was optical and corrected to the 
barycentric reference frame.
The area mapped is 0.7x0.7 square degrees around NGC 6946.
