Whenever information of a scan or group of scans needs to be entered into the log this entry type should be used.
A new data entry screen for the scan information log entry is initiated
from the pop up menu (right click) Add
New Log Entry / Scan
information or from the Menu Edit / New
Log Entry / Scan information
or by using the short cut Ctrl-T.
The different fields that need to be filled in.
Log Date This is the effective start date and time for the first scan of any sequence.
Scan No This is the M&C system assigned scan number. If the information on only one scan is being logged only the first entry is filled in. If a sequence is logged the to scan number is also filled in.
Comment The other information to be recorded is entered into the comments. This may include the source and/or any other details.
