The "Sticky Notes" application allows you to write messages on a yellow "sticky note" which can be posted on your computer screen.  

Saving and Opening a Notes file:

Notes can be saved into  using the or the <File> <Save As> option.  All messages will be saved regardless of whether they are hidden or have been shrunk.  

Existing note files can be opened by pressing .  

To close the current note file and begin with a new, empty file, press .  

Creating Notes:

To create a note, click on the new note icon .  Fill in the "To", "From" and "Subject" lines, then add your message inside the box and click "Done".  Your sticky note appears along with the date and time created.  

Selecting a Note:

To select a note, click on the "Notes"  combobox at the bottom of the sticky notes screen and select the note of interest from the list of the currently-available notes.  

Hiding, Shrinking, and Deleting Notes:

You now have the option to hide, shrink, or delete a note, either by using the appropriate menu item or by clicking the Hide , Shrink , or Delete icons.  

If you have multiple notes it is possible to simultaneously "Hide All" and "Shrink All"   notes.  

Showing, Maximizing, and Editing Notes:

To show a hidden note press , or for multiple notes, and  or  to maximize shrunken notes.  

Press to edit a note.

Exiting:

The quits the sticky notes application.  You'll be asked whether you want to save any edited notes
