Pointing

Most of these commands are used to initialize the ZY. They alter system parameters that allow a ZY to point it's laser to a 3 dimensional coordinate, instead of using raw encoder coordinates. The actual encoder coordinates are calculated as explained in document R051894[8].

Command	Description
ALPHA	Sets/returns ranger hardware Alpha angles into ZY
BETA	Sets/returns ranger hardware Euler angles
EZ	Sets/returns azimuth and elevation offsets
BP	Sets/returns base point coordinates of ZY monument
MO	Sets/returns $\Delta X \Delta Y \Delta Z$ monument to laser mirror offset
