Installation

Installing the HA program involves two steps:

1. Place the HA.EXE executable where the HA computer can find it
2. Create a boot diskette for the HA computer.

To complete the first item of the installation, copy the HA.EXE file to the following network directory:

\\BULLWINKLE\laser\140foot

Thats it! Creating the boot diskette is almost as simple. All of the files needed by the boot diskette can be obtained from the network directory:

\\FREYA\LaserComputerSystems\140footencoders\agent86\DiskImage

To create a boot diskette, do the following:

1. Format a diskette on a DOS equiped computer using the command line:

   C:\format a: /s
   

   This will create a bootable system diskette.
2. Copy the contents of

   \\FREYA\LaserComputerSystems\140footencoders\agent86\DiskImage
   

   to the root directory of the boot floppy.
3. Place the diskette in the HA computer's A: drive and restart it. The HA computer will boot, make an FTP connection to the NT host bullwinkle, download HA.EXE, and run it.
