Installing the ZY Program

Installing the ZY involves 2 steps:

1. Seting up the ZY computer's boot diskette
2. Providing the ZY executable on the ZIY host computer

Item 1 is covered in detail in the ZY Software Interface Manual [2]. Therefore, that just leaves item 2 in the current context. All that needs to be done here is to install the ZY executable in a location where the ZY host computer can locate it via FTP (see reference [2].) This location is the anonymous FTP directory tree (see figure 3.1.)

To install the ZY executable, place a copy of the ZY.EXE file in the appropriate ZY directories. The ZY will find the executable there, download it, and execute it.
