	Welcome to NRAO

	The Green Bank Telescope, a 100 meter clear aperature radio telescope for the 21st century.
	This is the home page of Joe Brandt (N0NYO), at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, Green Bank, West Virginia. I am a senior scientific applications programmer at the NRAO Green Bank. My interests include operating systems, parallel and unique data processing systems, and device control. Currently I am involved in researching innovative ways to include the power of graphics processors in data processing (GPGPU).

Moments of Zen:

Due to the extreme cold in Green Bank(< -15F), the servers are overheating because the chillers have frozen and we have lost cooling in the server room.
The sands of time have leaked into the gears of progress.
