Green Bank Telescope PF1 450 MHz Receiver Checkout.
Observations are presented below of the RFI in the 385 to 520 MHz and shows the reduction in RFI as a function of first IF band pass filter. Plots of intensity versus Sky Frequnecy are shown for the 240, 80, 40 and 20 MHz wide filters.

Between 380 and 450 MHz the RFI is relatively weak and consists mainly of narrow bandwidth "spikes". Above 450 MHz, the RFI is strong and convers a broader frequency range.

Observations with the 240 MHz wide band pass filter.

Ascii Data (2004_03_01_22:51:19D.4.log)
Observations with the 80 MHz wide band pass filter.

Ascii Data (2004_03_01_22:56:13D.5.log)
Observations with the 40 MHz wide band pass filter.

Ascii Data (2004_03_01_23:00:42D.6.log)
Observations with the 20 MHz wide band pass filter. Note that the linear X/circular L polarization 20 MHz wide filter does not function properly.
