It is located atop Volcan Sierra Negra in central Mexico (Latitude 19N) and is currently in the late construction/early commissioning phase. Current site activities are focused on preparing for an upcoming holography campaign to bring the surface to sufficient accuracy to do initial science at 3mm wavelengths. A description of the design and current status of the telescope will be presented, as well as the near term operations plan. Future Colloquia: http://www.gb.nrao.edu/colloquia/colloquia.html
