Accessing the GBT Public Address System via the Site telephone system

1 - Dial 2195 from any phone on site.  You MUST be calling from a TouchTone phone.  The PA system will answer after 1 ring.

2 - You will here a single beep.  Dial the 6 digit password.  If dialed correctly, you will hear a double beep, and you can record your message (15 seconds max, soon to be expanded to 30 seconds).

• If you dial incorrectly OR don't dial anything for 20 seconds, you will get a triple beep and the PA will hang up on you.
• If your message is longer than 15 (30) seconds, the PA system will triple beep, hang up on you, then broadcast the first 15 (30) seconds of the message.
  

3 - At the end of the message, dial #7.  This causes the PA system to hang up and then broadcast your message a few seconds later.

• If you don't dial #7 at the end of the message but simply hang up the phone, the PA system will still broadcast the message.  However, it won't do it for about 20 - 30 seconds (i.e., when the system times out).
