The following list shows where each of the registered participants will be staying during the GBT Science Workshop. Rooms are reserved for 4 nights at each of the locations, with arrival on Sunday July 26 and departure on Thursday July 30. If your plans are different from this, you should see your arrival and departure days listed after your name.
The apartments and Residence Hall rooms are located on the observatory grounds, in the first building on the right as you enter the observatory. Your keys will be waiting for you in the lobby of that building, if you are staying there.
The Hermitage Motel is located at the intersection of Routes 250 and 28, about 8 miles north of the observatory. The Boyer Motel is located on Route 28, about 4 miles north of the observatory.
If you are staying at the Boyer or the Hermitage, and will check in after 7:00 PM (Boyer) or after 11:00 PM (Hermitage) please contact Jim Braatz ASAP. The offices for these motels close at those times, but we can make other arrangements to ensure you will have a room when you arrive.
