Station Computer VME Rack
The OVLBI VME rack contains the station computer (MVME 147),
MCB interface (MVME 331), two
Decoder
boards and the OVLBI optical
modum. The MVME computer also includes a floppy disk drive and
scci interface hard drive.
The station computer controls the scheduled execution of station
commands. VxWorks is the real-time operating system, and all station
control code is written in C.
The station computer also supports the operator interface, real-time
data logging and antenna pointing.
The Decoder is built on two 6U wire wrap cards. The interface
to the station computer is via the VME bus.
