Appendix: Observing Details for project TSPECTEST_02 The data were acquired from 5pm-11:30pm 18 August 02 (EDT) (9pm UT 18 August 02 to 03:30am 19 August 02 UT). The goal was to obtain a variety of standard spectra with the Spectrometer, as well as to perform some frequency switched and LO1 tests (the results of these are summarised elsewhere). Data was acquired using M&C version 3.5.0, but with a "test" version of the LO1A synthesizer manager which had upgrades to improve the frequency switching behaviour. This was expected to have no effect on the details of Doppler tracking or frequency calculations. The GBT equipment was initially set up using the "tiger_setup.g" setup script, however all devices were subsequently checked and configured through CLEO. N.B For Scans 1 through 12, the IF rack was inadverntently set up with 20MHz passband filters, even though some 40MHz and 50MHz spectra were obtained. For scans 13 onwards, the 80MHz passband filters were selected. The primary source observed was U9179o, with 3C295 used for pointing.
