5:00 PM Pizza and a Movie: "400 Years of the Telescope." This highly acclaimed film traces the history of astronomy from Galileo's groundbreaking discoveries to the cosmic mysteries today's astronomers are tackling.

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Galilean Nights Global Star Party, in which participants around the world will look at the moon and Jupiter, following in Galileo's footsteps.

1:00 PM- 5:00 PM Open House! Family-friendly activities including model rocket launching, science demonstrations, safe telescopic viewing of the Sun, and behind-the-scenes tours of the NRAO and the giant Robert C. Byrd Green Bank Telescope.
