Title: Operating and Maintenance Logs

Last Revision: 3 MAY 02

Info

A computer based operations logging system is being developed and used for day to day operations. In addition and for the time being this is being duplicated using the standard paper form as in the past. An Operating and Maintenance Log should be completed by each shift following the guidance below. The GBT supervisor will review and collect these forms as needed. These are kept in a notebook at the operators area of the GBT control room.

Information pertaining to the electronic log book is contained in a separate document on the GBT Operations web page.

General

Information entered on these forms should be as accurate and detailed as possible. This information is used to support management decisions and maintenance repair efforts.
