Title: Mainsaver Work Request Entry |

Mainsaver is a software package developed to enable work requests to be generated, revised to work orders, and automatically track work progress. It also allows automatic scheduling of maintenance activities. Operator's usage of this application will be limited to the generation of work requests.
USE CAP LOCKS TO ENTER ALL MAINSAVER DATA

Open the Citrix Server. Once logged on, you will see the Mainsaver icon. (See Citrix / Rome Server Access procedure) |

Click on the Mainsaver icon and log on using your Mainsaver login name and password. If the icon does not work, use the start button and look under programs. Your Mainsaver login name is the same as your email name without the @nrao.edu. If you do not know your password, see Jerry Lawrence. |

Open the “Maintenance” module |

Click on the “Work Req” button |

Click on the “New” button to open a new work request (WR) or “Retrieve” to retrieve an existing WR |

Enter the following information:

Unselect the “Continuous Add” button if this is your only WR |
|||||||||||||||||||||||

Edit your WR by clicking the “Retrieve” button to review the WR (use the WR number to recall it) |

Click OK |

Double click on your WR to open it and edit. |

Save your changes by clicking “OK” |
