Abstract:

The SPIE International Symposium on Astronomical Telescopes and Instrumentation was held March 20 through 28, 1998 at Kona, HI, USA. The symposium included conferences on control systems, adaptive optics, and other topics. This report is an attempt to bring to light some of the issues that other projects are struggling with, and how they are solving them.
