Entry points

The Sib object should have the same signature as the original Sib object. The following methods are provided by the current Sib object, and must be provided by the replacement library:

• Sib (unsigned short deviceID, int timeOut = T200MS)

• int read (unsigned short offset, unsigned short *data)
  

• int write (short offset, short *data);
  

• int write (unsigned short offset, unsigned short *data)
  

• void    monRead (short offset, short *data)
  

• void    monWrite (short offset, short *data)
  

• float convertAtoD(short data)
  

These methods describe the interface to the Sib object. The read and write methods allow the application to read and write locations in the Sib. The monRead and monWrite methods allow the application to read back the last things read or written from/to the Sib. The initialize function is used to set up the Sib board, and the MCB Software.
